Now that we have taken the beginning of the year SRI test, students know their current lexile. Reading books in their lexile range will help increase comprehension. Books read during nightly Reading Log time should also be in their current lexile range. We will be keeping track of books recorded on their Reading Logs and the Reading Counts quizzes being taken. You can find a copy of the 1st Quarter Reading Counts Record sheet in your child's green folder. There you can see the books your child has been taking comprehension quizzes on. The first half of the points are due on August 25th!
